“Eliminating bandwidth rates provides cost savings for Liquid Web and Cloudflare customers,” said Carrie Wheeler, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CloudFlare.

Liquid Web, a managed hosting company part of the Madison Dearborn Partners family of companies, has announced their partnership with the Cloudflare Bandwidth Alliance. By joining this alliance, Liquid Web customers would benefit from reduced bandwidth charges automatically.

The Bandwidth Alliance is a group of cloud and networking companies committed to providing the most cost-efficient experience for mutual customers. It was created to help customers save money on bandwidth by waiving or reducing data transfer charges. Its promise is to send all traffic from their network to their partners, free of bandwidth changes.

In return, the members promise to send traffic from their networks to Cloudflare with no bandwidth charges, all with the aim of making Internet security more attainable for Internet citizens.

The partnership between Liquid Web and Cloudflare would offer 3 key benefits:

  • Free egress traffic for all Liquid Web customers (traffic leaving Liquid Web, aimed at Cloudflare)
  • Automatic enrollment and savings for all Liquid Web customers
  • Alignment with industry leaders such as IBM Cloud and Microsoft Azure

Managed Hosting Company Liquid Web Joins Cloudflare Bandwidth Alliance 2
Hosting billing and automation platform HostBill has released an integration with Resello – an automation platform for cloud distribution with thousands of reseller partners across Europe and beyond accelerating digital transformation for end-clients.

Thanks to this integration HostBill partners can now start selling Resello’s entire portfolio of cloud solutions, including Microsoft CSP solutions such as Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, and perform “seamless and hassle-free” imports of cloud-based solutions from Resello into HostBill.

“Because of our efficient API and extensive documentation, the Resello automation platform has always been easy to integrate with,” said Harald Nuij, CCO of Resello.

As an all-in-one billing and automation solution, HostBill enables web hosting providers, cloud service providers, IaaS hosting providers and VPS hosting providers as well as domain and SSL resellers to handle all aspects of their business. HostBill handles all aspects of running a successful online business, from client acquisition, through invoicing and payment collection, automated service provisioning and management, to customer service and support.

Resello is a ‘cloud native’ distributor and Microsoft CSP indirect provider headquartered in the Netherlands. Founded in 2013, Resello has over 30 employees, with a development team and sales and support based in the Netherlands, supporting over 3.000 active resellers in over 100 countries worldwide.

“HostBill has over 500 integrations, ranging from control panels and apps to order pages and client portals,” said Kris Pajak, CEO of HostBill. “The integration with a proven distributor of cloud solutions, especially the Microsoft CSP solutions, such as Office 365 and Azure fits perfectly into our portfolio. The demand for these solutions among end-users is growing rapidly, so thanks to our integration with Resello our partners can now tap into this growing market.”
