Yuga Labs, creator of Bored Ape Yacht Club, registered over 1,000 domain names.

How many Web2 domain names does a Web3 company need? A lot, apparently.

Yuga Labs, creator of the Bored Ape Yacht Club and now the owner of CryptoPunks and Meetbits NFTs, registered over 1,000 domain names over the past week.

The domains cover everything from the new ApeCoin to ApeFest to Crypto Punks Chips.

People familiar with Yuga’s NFTs might find suggestions of the company’s roadmap from the domains, although you’ll have to weed through a lot of domains. The company found it necessary to buy typos of some of its brands in many different top-level domains.

All of the domains in question use a privacy protection service but were registered with AppDetex, a brand protection service that targets the crypto industry.
