CentralNic (AIM: CNIC) has appointed Carsten Sjoerup in the new role of Chief Technology & Product Officer. Sjoerup will lead the integration of CenralNic’s technology and product teams across all of the company’s brands.

Sjoerup cut his teeth in the domain and hosting business as the CTO of Host Europe Group. GoDaddy acquired Host Europe Group

CentralNic is a rapidly expanding rollup of the domain name industry. Over the past two years, it has also expanded into online advertising with its acquisitions of affiliate marketing and domain monetization companies. Its brands include ParkingCrew, Hexonet, RRPProxy, and Moniker, among others.
