Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday, May 16th, 2022

Elliot Silver posted on twitter than crypto falling is bad for domain investors. He is exactly right. Crypto falls when the stock market falls. If crypto is crashing it means that the overall market is also in bad shape. Crypto has also provided a ton of money for companies to buy and overpay for domain names. They are behind some of the biggest domain purchases the last few years. Crypto disappears and the domain market takes a huge hit. So while you may not be in crypto or NFTs, if you sell domain names, it is in your best interest to root for it to go well. The traditional businesses will always be there to buy, but as I said earlier a bad economy means they will be trying to conserve money and buying a domain name will move down the list of importance.

I also highly suggest you continue to diversify your digital assets. If you didn’t, you missed out on dot io, dot xyz, and dot eth. One of my best sales so far this year has been dot eth and non coms sales will most likely be half of my domain sales in 2022 unless I have a big dot com sale in the second half. Although I am hoping that I have a nice sale that puts the non coms at 5% 🙂

And got my daughter all graduated. I must say graduation now is a but crazy. She had 3 graduations. One for the honors students, one for math and sciences and one for all graduating seniors. She skipped the big one because there is no going on stage because there are so many students. So we watched the commencement speech and the program on live stream and hung out at a lake house taking in the great weather and spending time together. We got to watch her walk up in the other two and she got the graduation experience there. It was a great weekend and we decided to spend an extra day just because we wanted to spend more time with her. Our nursery is crazy busy this time of year but they won’t die without me as I spend some time with my family.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
