We’ve been calling the Domain Investors that have been trading NFTs the “Rabbit Hole Gang” because of the Domain Sherpa segments called “Down the Rabbit Hole”. We’ve had a lot of them on the show and last week James Booth was one. At the time he had bought a Gold Ape for 1.2 million or 400 ETH. A month later he sold that ape for 720 ETH or about $2.8 million. A $1.6 million dollar gain in 30 days. All on the blockchain. All legit and open for all to see

It was sold to the Metaverse called The Sandbox. While you may call them cartoons, these cartoons are being purchased by large corporations. Arizona Iced Tea also bought an ape for advertising. With all assets we hope that large pockets want them. Bored Apes are being sought by large pockets. Especially the more rare. They are iconic, unique and make for good advertising. Sound familiar? Its why so many domain investors are crushing it. They understand rarity and are used to sorting through 10s of thousands of names. So sorting through jpegs is a piece of cake.

What’s great about all this is the rising cost of NFTs and the profits made are making domains seem cheap and I find myself bidding MORE than I used to. Because $1000 is nothing now. That gets you the low end of a NFT project but a pretty good domain. Many floors like Cool Cats are 3.5 eth or $15K. That gets you a good domain. Bored ape floor is $160K and that gets you 2 GREAT domains. I guarantee the Booth brothers put some of their million in profits back into domains. The rich get richer. Risk gets rewards. And so it continues

Godaddy Domains With Bids NFTS made this worth 10X what it was last year First as the second word in the brand name has a lot of precedent. 23 years old I actually know two people that are medical writers for a living. Pays very well. But they are really smart people. One is a nuclear physicist grad Chinese name taken in 16 extensions Surprised this is taken in 25 extensions. LLCreative might be a good buy Towing or Dallas something OF something Pronounced A LUUM Based on past sales this has a $500 over under Sounds sweet I for International Not really talking up your coffee in the name but that’s what makes it cool This would have been $5K a few years ago and Two solid Aspen names The plus makes it 10 million dollars cheaper 5L under $300 (at price time)
