January 2022 Keyword Trends

The first month of the new year is over and looking back at January there were some nice sales in the keywords we track here. Crypto had a strong month led by CryptoTracker.com at $50,000. VivaPay.com put some life back into the Pay keyword with a sale of $65,000.

Coin had a bunch of LLcoin sales as it looks like someone let a bunch expire. GoDaddy was the beneficiary of these Coin related domain names.

Tech usually strong had a slow month. Meta slowed down a bit. it still had one 5 figure sale with Metanomic.com.

Meta, NFT, Cloud, Crypto and Pay had five figure sales.

There are certain keywords that are the most sought after in domain wanted threads, certain keywords that are the strongest when it comes to overall registration numbers.

Media recorded 27 sales ending in media, B2BMedia.com was the high sale at $3,503. Dollar volume: $13,500.

Labs recorded 15 sales ending in labs with BTCLabs.com being the high sale at $2,605. Dollar volume: $9,626.

Online recorded 35 sales ending in online with HostingOnline.com being the high sale at $3,988. Dollar volume: $22,100.

Coin recorded 42 sales ending in coin with SFCoin.com being the high sale at $2,481. Dollar volume: $19,600.

Coin also recorded 15 sales as the first keyword in a two word combo. CoinMarketPlus.com was the high sale at $3,769. Dollar volume: $13,100.

Crypto recorded 24 sales starting with Crypto with CryptoTracker.com being the high sale at $50,000. Dollar volume: $96,600.

Crypto recorded 5 sales ending with Crypto, PuertoCrypto.com was the high sale at $755. Dollar volume: $2,351.

Capital recorded 18 sales ending in Capital with GdCapital.com being the high sale at $2,305. Dollar volume: $12,600.
