Leah Sweet, currently Senior Vice President at PayPal, has joined GoDaddy’s (NYSE: GDDY) board of directors.
She is replacing Greg Mondre, who resigned to spend more time on his new role as co-CEO of Silver Lake. Silver Lake was one of three private equity firms that WebsiteHostingReview.org/2011/07/01/breaking-go-daddy-takes-investment-from-kkr-silver-lake-and-tcv/”>acquired GoDaddy in 2011.
Sweet is responsible for global design, delivery and operations at PayPal (NASDAQ: PYPL). She worked for CA Technologies prior to joining PayPal in 2011.
With Sweet, the GoDaddy board of directors now has two women directors out of nine seats.
